Information You Provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
  • Payment information: Mobile money number or bank card details, processed securely through Paystack. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Event information: Details about events you create as an organizer.
  • Communications: Messages you send to our support team.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform.
  • Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process ticket purchases and issue QR code tickets
  • Facilitate payouts to event organizers via mobile money or bank transfer
  • Send transactional communications (purchase confirmations, event reminders, updates from organizers)
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Improve, personalize, and expand the Platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will not use your personal data for purposes incompatible with those described above without your consent.

  • Event organizers: When you purchase a ticket, your name and contact details are shared with the relevant organizer to manage attendance.
  • Payment processors: Paystack processes payments on our behalf and handles your payment data under their own privacy policy.
  • Service providers: Trusted third-party services that help us operate the Platform (hosting, analytics, SMS, email delivery).
  • Legal purposes: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encrypted communications (TLS/HTTPS), access-controlled databases, and regular security audits.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain user data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law. Retention periods vary by data type:

User Account Information

Retained while your account is active, plus a reasonable period to allow for reactivation.

Contact Form Submissions

Retained for a reasonable period to address your inquiry and provide support.

Cookies & Analytics

Retained as described in Section 8 (Cookies & Analytics).

7.2 Data Deletion Process

When the retention period expires or you submit a deletion request, we follow a structured process:
